Minecraft giant village map download

Flowers that feed animals. Flowers that turn hostile mobs against each other. Flowers that eat cake. Oh, and did I mention that you've can also use flowers to create a magical portal to a world of elves?

If you want to try something wildly different from most other mods, Botania is it. Engineer's Tools is a simple Minecraft mod that makes mining above and under ground way more convenient. The mod's main feature is a craftable multitool that combines your pickaxe, wood axe, sheers, and shovel into a single item.

You still need the individual tools to craft the multitool, so it's not so much a cheat as an inventory convenience. It also adds a coal chalk marker that you can use in caves to leave navigational waypoints or mark points of interest. No one likes the feeling off having to trudge down a mountain only to clumsily stumble your way up another directly after. What this mod does is cut out the in between bits. Namely, point, click, and a rope bridge will magically appear to offer up a link between the two destinations.

Feel free to judge. Something has ended life as we know it. Buildings are in disrepair, and everyone has vanished, or so it seems. The Lost Cities, as the foreboding name suggests, spawns you into a city forgotten by time.

The goal? See how long you can survive this post-apocalyptic wasteland without succumbing to death. You know how there's basically no games where you get to be a soldier?

Okay, so there's maybe one or two thousand , but Minecraft isn't one of them, so naturally someone found a way to mod it in. Okay, okay, so this one may be cheating. But what happens if you want to turn the tables? What happens if you want an enormous city in a matter of seconds? Simply cycle through the creative menu, drop a block, right click it, and a building will magically spawn. Structures range from castles, to houses, all the way to tram stations.

Everyone wishes they lived in a candyland, right? Well thanks to this mod, your wishes can come true, so long as you're happy to live vicariously through your Minecraft avatar.

Your tools are made of marshmallows, your armor is made of honeycombs, and the critters are made of rock candy. Perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth who doesn't mind getting a little sticky. How many times have you explored a new area only to be met with nothing but vast emptiness?

Villagers are replaced by human men, women, and children, instead of the bog-standard villager. Even villages have had a makeover to incorporate 11th-century Norman, North Indian and Mayan themes. Not only is there a massive amount of dinosaurs to spawn in creative, but in survival, the player can hunt down fossils and bring these forgotten beasts back to life. From the deep dark abyss of space to the glistening glory of Jeff Goldblum. The JurrassiCraft mod lets you create your very own prehistoric world by extracting DNA from fossils or amber you can find.

It even includes some vehicles to help you make your way around. You can even bring back some prehistoric plants too. Just remember that life, uh, finds a way, and dinosaurs are much bigger than you and usually hungry. Making your base pretty is an afterthought to some players, but to others it's a vital part of the game. Chisel provides loads of new texture options for many of the most common blocks in the game, giving you lots more decorative options. Cobblestones have 24 different textures with this mod, while in the base game they have And pretty much every block.

Have you grown bored of your world but don't want to lose your progress? Conjure up a new dimension with Mystcraft. It lets you create 'Linking Books' that allow you to travel around the multiverse—with the contents of the book dictating the kind of worlds you'll discover. You might find a series of snow-covered floating islands, or an endless ocean with giant trees sprouting from the water.

But be careful, some of the new dimensions could be unstable, falling apart around you. Well, rather than lamenting this fact, why not speed up the experience with a whole slew of new animal bikes. This mod allows you to craft and ride a whole bunch of different beasts, all of which have special abilities.

You can ride on animal hungry dinosaurs, volatile creepers, and even your very own fire-breathing ender dragon. Another great mod for spicing up world-generation is Natura. It adds a wide variety of new tree types, and therefore different-coloured woods to make your home more aesthetically pleasing.

It also adds a few extra crops for early-game food and resource production, and makes the Nether a little more dangerous. Natura is a nice first step into Minecraft modding, because it sticks close to the themes of the regular game.

Being a sorcerer is awesome, and the most awesome way to be a sorcerer in Minecraft is with Thaumcraft. It's a vast mod that revolves around drawing the magical essence out of physical objects in the Minecraft world and reshaping it into new forms.

In the process, you'll create altars, wands, golems and fill dozens of jars of coloured goo. There's even a puzzle game you'll have to complete to research new spells. Love adventuring? This mod adds a new, densely-forested dimension shrouded in perpetual twilight that hides both valuable treasures and dangerous monsters.

Throw a diamond into a pool of water surrounded by flowers to create a portal there, then spend a while roaming around. You'll find hedge mazes, hollow hills, enchanted groves, glaciers, lich towers and more with rich rewards for those that delve the deepest. If you like the agricultural aspects of Minecraft, you're going to love Forestry.

It's a huge mod, which adds a bunch of new items, machines and blocks, but it's best known for its bees. It is the reason why the village in this seed fits perfectly between the two. It spawns us in one of the largest badlands biomes that you can find at spawn.

The desert village has a major part of its area on the badlands biome instead of the desert. If you make your way towards the nearby ocean, you will find a Ruined portal floating in the ocean.

Normally, Ruined portals are present either underwater or on the ground. So, this Ruined portal is one of the rarest ones that you can probably only find in Minecraft 1. To begin with, we spawn near a Ruined portal whose chest has a pickaxe, hoe, and a sword. All of these are enchanted items and are present alongside gold. A few thousand blocks away from our spawn is an ocean filled with ice spikes and glaciers. But, once you go underwater, there are two ocean monuments below the surface of the water.

Both of them are located within 50 blocks of each other marked above. One is surrounded by glaciers, while the other is surrounded by Amethyst Geodes. It is located next to a small cold ruin that has a buried treasure map. Upon spawning, the world in this seed looks quite dead. As you start exploring the desert, you will discover a desert village located next to a desert temple.

Do keep in mind that the temple is mostly covered with sand, so it can be hard to locate. The village has a variety of villagers, including an ironsmith. Moving on, you will seemingly stumble upon one of the smallest Ruined portals near this village. At least it looks that way because of all the sand covering it. But once you uncover it, you will find a ruined portal that is practically only 3 blocks away from becoming functional.

Not to forget, its chest contains a lot of gold ingots and a couple of enchanted items. Spawn Next to a Pillager Outpost Pillager outposts are dangerous if encountered early in a survival world.

But how about spawning next to one. Yeah, this seed on our list of best Minecraft 1. The somewhat good thing about this seed is the exploration part. Near the pillager outpost are a beehive and a flower forest, contrasting the whole scene. And almost every cave, underwater or on-ground, leads to a huge dripstone cave that is awaiting your arrival.

Towards the opposite side of the outpost is a snowy mountain surrounded by a flowering meadow on all sides. Within blocks of our spawn, there are multiple villages and two desert temples. Not to forget, we also have many caves and a ruined portal in this seed.

This makes it one of the best spawn points for almost any Minecraft world. One of the closest two villages also has an ironsmith, ensuring you get everything you need early in the game. With combined obsidian loot from both the ruined portals and resources of three villages, you will be more than ready to enter the Nether realm.

All that will be left for you to do is locate the stronghold. Everywhere you look, there are cold Minecraft biomes welcoming you. But within the coldness of this world are two large villages located on either side of our spawn point. Normally, only iron tools and iron ingots spawn in such chests. You can find an obsidian block in its chest. Now, with the existing obsidian blocks you collected from the ironsmith, you can finish the Ruined portal.

In a way, you can finish all your overworld looting and be Nether-ready within the first 5 minutes of spawning. Such a lucky seed will be hard to come across in Minecraft 1. Largest Swamp with Witch Hut at Spawn In terms of spawning, swamps are considered to be one of the rarest biomes. But with this seed, we spawn in not just any swamp, but one of the largest swamp biomes. Unfortunately, we spawn next to one of those huts.

The witch can even see us from the window. But for that, you will have to make a boat in Minecraft. Using the boat, you need to find your way to a mushroom fields island. This island is built upon an underwater ravine that is directly connected to a huge mineshaft. One of them even has cold ruins surrounding it. Finally, to top it all off, you can also find an ocean monument just a few hundred blocks away from our island.

The next seed for our list is a simpler one. They are characterized by their abundance of red sand and large mounds of colorful terracotta [4] X Research source. If you do not already know where one is, pick a direction and start traveling while looking for one. This may take a long time, however, so be prepared for the journey. If you are playing on Java Edition, have cheats enabled on your world and are having a hard time finding a badlands biome, you can use commands to find one.

This will give you the coordinates of the nearest badlands biome, which you can then teleport or travel to. Check your coordinates. Gold ore is found from Y-levels in badlands [5] X Research source. Mine for gold ore. Dig branches into the hillsides, or just walk along and scan the cliffs for gold ore. Search abandoned mineshafts. Badlands are the only biome where mineshafts can generate above ground [6] X Research source.

If you come across a mineshaft while mining for gold in one, explore it. Gold ingots can generate as loot in minecart chests found in mineshafts [7] X Research source. Method 3. Make a Nether portal. A nether portal can be made using 10 obsidian, which is formed when water meets lava source blocks, and can be mined with a diamond pickaxe. Place two obsidian blocks next to each other on the ground, and then place a placeholder block on each end.

Place three obsidian blocks in columns on each of the placeholder blocks. Put a placeholder block on the top of each column. Place two more obsidian blocks between the top placeholders, then light the portal using a flint and steel. Enter the Nether portal. Make sure the portal is activated and there are swirling, purple blocks inside the portal frame. Step into the portal frame. Your screen will appear purple and before you know it, you are transported to the Nether. Look for Nether gold ore.

This type of gold ore looks like netherrack with bits of gold in it. It only generates in the Nether from Y-levels , in any biome [8] X Research source. It is best to look for Nether gold ore in biomes that aren't basalt deltas the nether biome with a greyish color, plenty of basalt and blackstone, and magma cubes generating everywhere , as this biome have fewer valid generation areas.

Mine the Nether gold ore. Unlike regular gold ore, you can use any type of pickaxe to mine Nether gold ore. Hold a pickaxe in your hand, face the ore, and hold down right click until it breaks. It will break into gold nuggets [9] X Research source. If you're playing on Pocket Edition, tap and hold the block to break it. If you're playing on a console or with a controller, press and hold right trigger to break it. If you break Nether gold ore or other gold blocks near piglins, they will attack you, regardless of if you are wearing golden armor or not.

Turn the gold nuggets into ingots. Open a crafting table and fill all 9 slots with a gold nugget to make a single gold ingot. Alternatively, you can mine nether gold ore with a Silk Touch pickaxe and smelt it just like regular gold ore.

Method 4. Explore abandoned mineshafts. Mineshafts can generate underground in any Overworld biome, or above ground in badlands [10] X Research source. The minecart chests found in mineshafts can contain gold ingots. The easiest way to find abandoned mineshafts is by exploring caves and ravines. Look for oak planks, fences, rails, and torches you didn't place, as these things indicate a mineshaft. Look for minecart chests in the mineshaft and check them for gold ingots or other loot you want.

Look for dungeons. Dungeons can generate at any Y-level as long as it is next to a cave [11] X Research source. Chests in dungeons have a chance to contain gold ingots.

Explore caves and ravines, and look out for cobblestone you didn't place, as this usually indicates a dungeon. Place torches on and around the spawner in the dungeon. This will prevent mobs from spawning. You could also destroy the spawner with a pickaxe, but this will completely destroy it. Check the chests for gold ingots or other loot you want. Loot villages. In Java Edition, villages can generate in deserts, plains, savannas, taigas, and snowy tundras.

In Bedrock Edition, they can generate in these biomes as well as sunflower plains, taiga hills, snowy taigas, and snowy taiga hills [12] X Research source. Pick a direction and start traveling until you find a village. It may take you a while to find one, so bring plenty of supplies like food, blocks, tools, and armor. When you find a village, check inside all the homes for any chests. Open the chests and take any gold ingots and other loot you want. Look for shipwrecks.

Shipwrecks can generate in any ocean biome, and may even generate beached above water [13] X Research source. They contain chests that can have gold ingots. Swim or sail around oceans while looking for wooden structures underwater. You can also feed a dolphin raw cod or salmon, which will cause them to lead you to the nearest underwater structure, which may be a shipwreck [14] X Research source.

Swim around the shipwreck and check all the rooms and chests. Take any gold ingots, buried treasure maps, and other loot you want. Buried treasure maps will lead you to buried treasure chests which can have gold ingots in them. Use the buried treasure map to find buried treasure. Hold the map in your hand and look for the white dot on it that indicates you. Determine what direction you need to go in to get to the red X on the map and start traveling in that direction.

As you travel, check your dot's movements. When you're on top of the red X, start digging around that area until you find a chest. Open the chest and take any gold ingots or other loot you want.

Find desert temples. Desert temples generate in deserts. The floor is always at Y-level 64, so some temples may be partially buried by sand [15] X Research source. The chests found in these temples can contain gold ingots. Explore desert biomes until you find a pyramid like structure with 2 towers attached. This is a desert temple. Get inside the temple and locate the orange and blue terracotta inside on the floor. Below is the treasure room. Break one of the outside orange blocks and make sure there is a block beneath it before digging down more.

Dig until you reach the bottom of the treasure room. Don't step on the stone pressure plate in the middle of it, break it instead or else it will trigger a TNT explosion.

Open all the chests in the room and take any gold ingots and other loot you want. Explore jungle temples. Jungle temples can generate in jungle and bamboo jungle biomes. There are 2 chests inside that can contain gold ingots. Explore jungle and bamboo jungle biomes.

Look for a large cobblestone structure, this is the temple. Enter the temple. Go down the stairs that are near the entrance. On one side, there will be a wall with 3 levers. You can pull the levers and, if the correct combination is pulled, a block upstairs will be moved that will lead to a chest that can contain gold ingots and other useful loot.

On the other side, there will be a corridor with some arrow traps. Look on the floor for pieces of string and tripwires.

Break the tripwires to deactivate the trap. At the end of the corridor there will be a chest that can contain gold ingots and other loot. Loot woodland mansions. Woodland mansions are very rare structures that generate in dark oak forest biomes, often thousands of blocks from the spawnpoint [16] X Research source.

They contain lots of good loot though, and some chests may have gold ingots. The easiest way to find a woodland mansion is by trading with a cartographer villager for a woodland explorer map and using the map to find one. You could also explore dark oak forest biomes until you find a giant, dark oak and cobblestone mansion. Woodland mansions are very dangerous, so be sure to bring plenty of supplies including food, blocks, torches, tools, good weapons and armor.

Once you find a woodland mansion, enter it and explore each room you find. Some rooms may have chests that can contain gold ingots and other loot. Take whatever loot you want.

Explore any Nether fortresses or bastions you find.
